As an explainer, let me tell you that Gretta is recovering from an indolent ulcer in her left eye. She is finally healing, but has been wearing an Elizabethan collar when we aren’t home. Even if her eyes look red (they always do), she thoroughly enjoyed modeling her alternate Elizabethan collars.

Ha, she always looks like that. She was actually very cheerful and her tail was wagging, but I think her jowls and eyebrows might give her a grumpy look. I’m just used to it.
