Hi Celia– thank you for sharing. It was baffling to see all that colorful plastic along such a pretty coast. Everything from spray nozzles to toothbrushes to decorative yellow flowers from sushi bentos littered so many beaches. I was lured by the color but truly disturbed that there was so much of it everywhere.
I appreciate your having shown how much “stuff” there is on beaches. Your characters seem almost perceptive.
