I make an embroidered quilt each winter, and this year’s features all of my family animals. Starting with Stripey (my sister’s cat, who was born precisely one year before me) and finishing with Gretta (modeling the quilt, above), it shows all of my 15 animals/pets throughout my life. It is made to be a couch quilt, so it is in a horizontal format, ideal for warming up with our pup.
