Florida Flora Quilt Squares

These are quilt square designs made by cutting leaves and plant parts into geometric shapes, arranging them in patterns, and photographing them before they move or die.  I made them with flora found on Robert Rauschenberg’s property on Captiva Island, Florida while attending the Rauschenberg Residency.

Each square measured 18″ x 18″.
